Correction! It was an *eighth* grade class trip to Montreal. 

Truth be told, I still wear this scarf all the time -- it's warm in the way Canadians know scarves should be warm! The jacket, in the same vein, is toasty in the way a good Mackintosh wool coat should be toasty. 

Meanwhile, I have since cut this dress at the waist to make it into a top. 

Cheers to the only fashion constant, which is change!
