Cleaver in Color

Here's a vintage sketch that directly inspired Look #6, "The Cornucopia", in 50 Ways to Wear Denim. 

I love this idea of layering on a plethora of hues when wearing colored jeans, turning the dial up to one hundred, so to speak. 

Some tips on making this work is to match the intensity of your colored jeans with an equally intensely-hued item, such as a top or a bag, as seen here. Or, stick to shades all in the same color family. (For instance, a navy sweater would be fetching with these true-blue colored jeans.)
